Welcome to Mamarapha College

Here is a place to find peace, encouragement, healing, and a deeper knowledge of God. Students leave the quiet atmosphere of the Karragullen campus with a better understanding of scripture, more effective life skills, equipped to make better choices and relationships, and with a willingness to serve and share what they have learnt with others.

Study at Mamarapha is conducted for all on a study block basis, and students fly in from all over Australia six times a year for up to two weeks of classes each block.  Students who are eligible to receive ABSTUDY Away from Base assistance and are enrolled in an approved course are able to receive, Meals, Accommodation and Transport costs covered by ABSTUDY for up to 40 days each year while enroled in Diploma or Advanced Diploma Course.

The Diploma of Indigenous Studies 52813WA Ministry stream students may complete their studies via study blocks, while Adanced Diploma of Indigenous Pastoral Ministry 52818WA students may elect to move to Perth and attend additional classes on campus for their 2nd and 3rd years. The 4th year for Pastoral Ministry students is a hands-on year. Students are located in the field learning practical ministry skills under a minister in a church. Theory is learnt via regular sessions with the minister, home study, and study blocks back at the College.

The Diploma of Indigenous Studies 52813WA (Lifestyle Health Promotion) and Advanced Diploma of Indigenous Studies 52817WA (Lifestyle Health Promotion) course is delivered entirely by blocks.

Graduation is held at the end of each year, and repective graudates are awarded with qualifications achieved.  Students who have not yet completed a qualificaiton are also recognised for progress they have made toward their goal.  This has proved to be a worthwhile incentive towards academic progress.
